Our charge air coolers can be used for many applications such as marine, power plants, generators / alternators, compressors, gas, wind energy and offshore.
We have 60 years’ experience providing our charge air coolers to 2 & 4 stroke engine builders. For years we have also provided an approved, yet economical after-market service for all engine operators.
The key breakthrough for Vestas aircoil came with the development of charge air coolers for Burmeister & Wain in 1956. Now we produce Charge Air Coolers for many of the worlds leading engine manufacturers from a group of factories all over the globe. From large bore 2-stroke engines built in Asia to medium speed 4-strokes built in the USA, Vestas covers all needs.
Proven thermal design, in house testing and all required levels of QA. All in place, along with structural analysis (FEM) and detailed component evaluation (PPAP). From concept, through design and prototype to serial production.
Vestas aircoil has strong roots in the industrial development of the communities in the Mid-West Jutland region of Denmark. We have evolved together with the region around us to be the company we are proud of being today.
